After two delays, Rockstar Games has locked in the release date for Grand Theft Auto VI: November 19, 2026. With launch now less than a month away, here is everything gamers in Bangladesh need to know before GTA 6 drops.
GTA 6 Release Date and Pre-Download
GTA 6 launches worldwide on November 19, 2026. Digital pre-downloads are expected to open on November 12, so you can have the game installed and ready the moment it unlocks.
Platforms: PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
At launch, GTA 6 is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not officially announced a PC version yet — if history repeats (as with GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2), a PC release would come later.
Price and Editions
- Standard Edition: US$80
- Ultimate Edition: US$100 — includes extra vehicles, weapons, clothing and story-linked content
- Standard owners can buy the Ultimate upgrade later
- Pre-orders (open since June 25, 2026) include the Vintage Vice City Pack
Note: physical copies reportedly contain a download code rather than a full game disc, so a stable internet connection matters.
Story, Characters and Setting
GTA 6 returns to a modern-day Vice City inside the fictional state of Leonida, Rockstar’s take on Florida. For the first time in a mainline GTA, players follow two lead characters — Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.

- December 2023: First trailer revealed, targeting 2025
- May 2025: Delayed to May 26, 2026
- Late 2025: Delayed again to November 19, 2026
- August 2026: A 26-minute extended gameplay look was released
